The journey begins

Two soon-to-be parents 

Scratching their heads 

And looking for possible names 

Sleepless nights they went through  

Dreaming and hoping 

Finally, they pondered upon the perfect name

That brought them joy 

Hasini

In naming the baby Hasini, they thought 

Happiness will always be a part of her personality

It's short and sweet

No nicknames 

That's a treat

A wonderful name 

One that couldn't be replaced

A perfect dancer 

I was named after 

Dancing on the courts 

Of a brave king 

The joy that it would bring 

Folks don't pronounce, 

The way it was meant to be 

I attempt to explain it 

But they never understand me 

So many ways to spell it 

Not always unmistakable as you see  

Three names I am given, 

Two others I don't wish to share 

They made the decision 

For religious purposes 

Even Though I care 

I try to hide my opinion 

Sadly I'm not famous enough 

To have a landmark to be proud of 

But I'm glad that none with fame

Not even once it crossed against my head

Hasini means delightful 

And I will never change it 

It's surprising how my parents 

Choose the perfect name

 That exactly portrays how they want me to be 

Another perk 

No middle names like 

Grace, Louise, Rose, and Jane

I always think about how much 

Relief it gives me

Even Though I don't believe 

What astrology conveys

Quite the impression on me 

The planet I rule is Saturn, they say 

It's just so unique with its rings 

Just like you and me 

Not just us but also our names 

Our names show who we are 

And how our personality shines 

Just as bright as the sun
